Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Harriet Marpe McGilliard scrapbooks collection was deposited with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on an unknown date by an unknown source, although as Harriet's daughter, Eleanor McGilliard was a member of faculty at the University of Chattanooga, it is likely that Eleanor donated the materials to the University.
