Scope and Contents The collection includes playbills and photos of the University Players (theater group from the University of Chattanooga), 1930's; playbills, newspaper clippings of the Little Theater of Chattanooga, 1920's; and a play typescript of The Whipporwill and other plays by Cornelius as well as related newspaper clippings. Also included are a few personal photos.

Overview The Dorothy Hackett Ward papers and records collection includes correspondence, course materials, community theater records, performance notes, scripts, and photographs documenting Ward's career as a professor in the University of Chattanooga Department of Drama and Speech and her membership in Chattanooga, Tennessee community theater groups including Festival Players and Chattanooga Opera. The materials were created and collected by Ward from circa 1940 to 1990.
