The Chattanooga History Center purchased this collection from Gallery Atelier Dore in San Francisco, California, which provided a certificate of authenticity on 1991 April 26. The Chattanooga History Center donated this accession to the Chattanooga Public Library and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on 2017 June 12.
